INTERNATIONAL: Now the Winter Olympics games are over here is the final Olympic tally.

With all the medals decide bar the team figure skating, let’s see how your country ended up on the tally.

Norway stayed on top for most of the contest and finish on top position with the most Gold and medals. Norway 16 Gold and 8 Silver 13 Bronze. Germany in the second position, with 12 Gold, 10 Silver and 5 bronze. Then in the last two-days the People's Republic of China had made a surge and gained 3rd position from the United States who finished 4th. China finished with 9 Gold, 9 Silver and 9 bronze. Norway finished with the most medals won at these winter games, 37 in total, with the nearest rival ROC on 32 medals in total.

There is still one out come at the wither games we are all still waiting for, the team ice skating. The investigation can still take weeks or months for final results. Russia took gold and United States silver and Japan with bronze. The result can change the tally and dreams and hope for their future.

The closing of the games and the inside loop has finally been completed with athletes able to return home to a hometown welcoming and look back on the games that had action, fun, ups and downs and controversy. Then there are the thousands of officials and staff that also made the games special. Now can go and see their loving family.
